A rich, luxurious natural emollient derived from the nuts of karite trees grown in Western and Central Africa. It seals in moisture and is well absorbed by the skin to condition and moisturize all skin types, making it perfect for dry or rough areas.
Gently apply as desired, paying close attention to dry or rough areas; reapply as needed. This product is naturally solid and color/texture will vary depending on temperature. This product will melt when warmed above body temperature and become solid again when cool. If solid, shea butter can be softened by placing in a pan of hot water (e.g. 100° or warmer) for 30 minutes or by microwaving until soft. Caution for Microwaving: This jar contains a foil seal. Do not place this jar directly in microwave. Before microwaving, scoop out desired amount and place in a microwave-safe container. Allow time to cool before applying. Store in a cool, dry place after opening.
